How do you know if your pool cleaner is in perfect condition? Read along to find out more.
First of all you need to check the cleaner which you use for your pool cleaning and pool maintenance. If it is moving in slow motion or it is not moving at all, then you have a problem. You now need to check the flow of the water in it or the suction. If there is no problem with the water flow, then check with your automatic pool cleaner. But if the flow is lower than usual, you need to look into the baskets and clean the filter. Then check the cleaner for debris which are stuck in it. Also, remember to check the water hose for any cracks and holes which might have developed over the winter months.
Then you need to replace any parts which have become damaged. The hoses work best if they are left uncurled. But often, during the winter months for storage purposes we tend to curl them up. This can lead to their cracking and subsequent breaking. So, you need to disassemble them and allow them to lie straight in the sun till they can be brought back to their original shapes.
Next, in order to maintain your pool better, give your pool cleaner a little rest from time to time. Remove it from the pool once a week. This will help you to get the optimum amount of work from your pool cleaner. It helps in maintenance as well.
If the amount of debris from leaves is more then it will be more convenient to remove the cleaner during those times. This will prevent the pool cleaner’s basket from clogging and keep your cleaner in working condition for longer.
Keeping these things in mind will go a long way to increase the longevity and output of your pool cleaner. Good Luck and Call Tropix Pools for Tropix Service, Tropix Remodels & Tropix Repair!
